The development of the concept of creating ceramics that is focused and forward-looking, is felt to need to increase creativity, productivity and quality of ceramics. Glaze is the most important thing in ceramics, and glaze makes ceramics impermeable because glaze has a glass content that is impermeable to liquids. Bali is a province with the largest Hindu majority population in Indonesia. Various religious activities use ritual equipment to carry out religious ceremonies such as leaves, flowers, and incense. Incense is considered a means of conveying prayers to God. In one Balinese house, each day, approximately 10 to 25 incense sticks are used, this is adjusted to the number of "Pelinggih" or places of worship for the gods in one house. The lack of public knowledge about the use of incense ash waste causes incense ash to be worthless in the eyes of the community. In fact, incense ash can be used as a glaze material for ceramic coloring because the form of ash is in the form of powder which is the same as the form of glaze material in general. This experiment is one form of systematic and synchronous implementation between the theory in the lecture program and the expertise mastery program obtained through direct practical activities in the workplace to create a new glaze formula/recipe. From this experiment, incense ash which initially had no significant benefits in everyday life or in the ceramic industry, can now be used as a supporting raw material to create an object of art through a mixture of glaze
