ANALISIS HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TERHADAP PERILAKU PENGGUNAAN OBAT TRADISIONAL PADA MASYARAKAT DUSUN KENANGA, KABUPATEN KETAPANG TAHUN 2023

Abstract

The people of Kenanga hamlet still use traditional medicine as it is still a favorite choice in preventing and treatment for diseases. The purpose of the research is to determine the level of knowledge and behavior of using traditional, as well as the relationship between these two variables. The type of research is cross sectional analytical observasional. The sample was 67 respondents who met the inclusion criteria, namely all people who lived in Kenanga hamlet, people who had used traditional medicine, and people who were aged 17-65 years old. The questionnaire has passed the validity and reliability tests on 30 respondents. Sampling was done by quota sampling method. The result showed the level of knowledge of respondents in good category 11,94%, sufficient category 49,25%, and less category 37,80%. The result showed the level of behavior of respondents in good category 4,48%, sufficient category 64,18%, and less category 31,34%. The relationship between the level of knowledge and the behavior of using traditional medicine was analyzed using the spearman rank test, the result showed a significance value of 0,00<0,05, the correlation value was 0,830 which showed a very strong relationship.The direction of the relationship is positively correlated so that the greater the level of knowledge, the greater the usage behavior. The conclusion of the research is that there was a very strong relationship between the level of knowledge and behavior of using traditional medicine.
