The leadership style of ward heads is an important factor influencing the performance of staff nurses in providing nursing care in inpatient wards. Effective leadership can create a supportive work environment, enhance motivation, and improve the quality of nursing services. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the leadership style of ward heads and the performance of staff nurses in the Darmawan Pavilion inpatient ward at Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital. This study used a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, involving 63 staff nurses. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The analysis showed a p-value < 0.05, indicating a significant relationship between the leadership style of ward heads and the performance of staff nurses. There is a significant relationship between the leadership style of ward heads and the performance of staff nurses in the Darmawan Pavilion inpatient ward at Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital.
