Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of job enrichment in encouraging employee innovation to improve organizational performance at PT Mandiri Abadi Permai, a swallow's nest-based food and beverage company in Medan City. The research method used was quantitative with a survey approach of 92 employee respondents. Data analysis was carried out through simple regression tests, multiple regression, and mediation testing. The results of the study show that job enrichment has a positive and significant effect on employee innovation and organizational performance. In addition, employee innovation also has a positive effect on organizational performance and acts as a partial mediator in the relationship between job enrichment and organizational performance. These findings confirm that challenging and meaningful work design not only increases intrinsic motivation, but also encourages innovation that impacts the improvement of organizational performance in a sustainable manner.
