Implementasi Nursing Informatics dalam Sistem Dokumentasi Keperawatan: Dampak terhadap Efisiensi dan Akurasi Data Pasien

Dokumentasi keperawatan merupakan komponen esensial dalam pelayanan kesehatan yang berkualitas. Namun, praktik dokumentasi manual masih sering menghadapi kendala keterlambatan, ketidaktepatan, dan inkonsistensi data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi nursing informatics dalam sistem dokumentasi keperawatan serta dampaknya terhadap efisiensi waktu pencatatan dan akurasi data pasien. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimen dengan pendekatan pretest-posttest pada 60 perawat di dua rumah sakit. Kelompok intervensi menggunakan sistem dokumentasi berbasis teknologi (electronic nursing documentation), sementara kelompok kontrol tetap menggunakan metode konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam efisiensi waktu (rata-rata penurunan waktu dokumentasi sebesar 32,5%) dan peningkatan akurasi data sebesar 25% pada kelompok intervensi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Implementasi nursing informatics terbukti meningkatkan kualitas dokumentasi keperawatan serta mendukung keselamatan pasien.
