Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Mind Mapping Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Teks Persuasif Pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMP IT Rahmat Tahun Pembelajaran 2023-2024

Abstract

The mind mapping learning model is able to express the ideas that students have. The aim of this research is to find out the differences and results of VIII SMP IT Rahmat who received learning using the mind mapping learning model and those who did not use mind mapping learning. The design of this research was a group pre-test post-test. The type of research used in this research is all experimental research (quasi-experimental research). This research was carried out at SMP IT Rahmat which is located at Jln. PTPN II V Gang Balai Desa Coffee Plantation in class VIII for three months from May to June 2024 SMP IT Rahmat. The research population consisted of all class VIII students at SMP IT Rahmat, totaling 56 students. From this population, the research sample was taken using a random sampling technique which resulted in a sample of 29 students. The sample was divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group, each consisting of 26 student. Regarding the data collection technique used, there is a test assessment instrument where the tests used are in the form of pre-test and post-test. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the t table has been carried out at a 5% level with df = (n+n)-2 = 66. The 5% significance level is 1.66827.
