Gout arthritis is one of the non-communicable diseases with an increasing prevalence in Indonesia. Community knowledge about this disease is a key determinant in the success of prevention and control efforts. This study aims to describe the level of community knowledge about uric acid disease in Labuan Bajo Village, Banawa District, Donggala Regency. A descriptive observational method with a quantitative approach was used. Data collection was conducted on January 15, 2026, involving 30 respondents through validated structured questionnaires covering aspects of disease definition, etiology, risk factors, clinical symptoms, complications, and prevention measures. Results showed that 40% of respondents had poor knowledge, 33% sufficient, 17% very poor, and only 10% had good knowledge. Low community knowledge levels correlated with educational backgrounds dominated by senior and junior high school graduates. These findings indicate the urgency of structured and sustained health education programs in the region
